The Best Fit…By: Stephen Siracusa
The NFL offseason has big questions for the Dallas Cowboys and Tony Romo and whether or not he will remain on the team or be traded. There are several places where Tony Romo could go if the right trade is made. Two of the teams that stick out as a perfect fit for Romo are the Denver Broncos and the Houston Texas, in addition to several others. The Texans would make perfect sense because they have a good defense and a couple of very good wide receivers, more than average tight ends, and a good backfield. It would only make sense that the Broncos would want to add a good QB such as Romo. Adding him to their roster could make them Super Bowl contenders for the upcoming season. The same goes for the Denver Broncos who need a solid veteran QB to allow them to have a chance at the Super Bowl next year. Romo would also help develop the young QB Paxton Lynch. The other teams that would benefit from having Romo on their teams would be the Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, Chicago Bears, Los Angeles Rams, Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Buffalo Bills. However, these teams don’t have as strong offensive lines as the Broncos and Texans and therefore Romo would have a lot more work to do to sync up the line. The key for Romo is to make sure he lands on a team with a solid line to avoid injury. It will be interesting to see what happens during the Draft in April.
