Darius Bazley, a highly-regarded prospect in the 2018 class, has committed to Syracuse.

Bazley, a 6-foot-8 Small Forward at Princeton High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, made his decision on Monday just days after taking an unofficial visit to the Syracuse University campus. Bazley is rated the No. 32 overall player in the 2018 class by ESPN.com. He had originally committed to Ohio State, but rescinded his commitment earlier this spring to attend college and play basketball.

He chose Syracuse over offers from Indiana, Florida, Georgetown, Illinois, Louisville, Maryland, Purdue, Xavier and several other schools.

Syracuse assistant coach Allen Griffin made the first contact with Bazley. Griffin who was a former SU players and who had been an assistant coach at Dayton.

SU fans are hoping with this acquisition and with the talent they already have, they could win it all this upcoming season.
